MiSTer current core on display (not an issue, just a question regarding the display)

Hi , is there any chance when not using MT32 mode on Mister with the ao486 core , the display could show current core name ? so if you have finished with ao486 and switch to say super nintendo , the display could show super nintendo.

It's not currently possible, because mt32-pi is wired directly to the FPGA core, so the core itself would need to act as a bridge to be able to pass images/text from the Linux side to mt32-pi via I2C or MIDI.

It would be a lot of work and would need changes to how all of MiSTer's cores work, so it's not something I'm keen on touching - sorry!
