What’s the wiring look like for the WT32-ETH01? Can you connect it directly to the CN105 or does it need a voltage regulator?
(I’m a software guy. Can do the hardware stuff when there are instructions, but haven’t been able to figure this out just from looking at the docs 😅)

pin 4 - black (gnd)
pin 3 - red (5v)
pin 2 - white (Tx)
pin 1 - yellow (Rx)

you do not need external power, you can use 5v from cn105.

beware of pin 5 - 12v !

Thank you! Setting this up has been on the backburner for a while, but with this repo I think it’s about time to get it working.
Did you make a case for yours, or is it just mounted inside the air conditioner?

@klim123123 and @FreelancerJay I am thinking about using the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 for this project. I have little experience working on hardware so directly. Am I correct in understanding I can wire the 5v (pin 3 in red in the photo of the CN105 connector) directly to the 5v in on the ESP32-S3 board? So that I don't need to some sort of in-line 5v regulator on that wire? Is the 5v out of the Mitsubishi mini split that stable?

yes, 5v from Mitsubishi is stable and you can connect it directly to 5V of esp32 device.
