After you start eduVPN you will get this begin screen:
When you resize this window and select an eduVPN country/profile the window is resized in the length so the information of the connection is not displayed:
Suggestion is to maximize the window when you connect to a profile/instance. Moreover when you close the eduVPN window through clicking on the X the eduVPN logo/program is still attached to the Mac OS dock:
Clicking on it will do nothing... rightclicking it gives also no option to show the window (or atleast does not work). The only way to get the window back is trough the menu icon in the top right corner:
Is it not normal to close the program in the dock then (if you can't do anything with it)?

The resizing is a bug indeed. (Since some data is loaded asynchronously, there is a brief initial moment that the max size of the window is smaller, causing it too shorten.)
Closing a window should not disconnect. The connection remaining up would be the expected behavior.
Clicking the icon in the Dock does make eduVPN the frontmost app. Indeed it would be nicer to have the window reappear then. The "Show window" menu item should be in the normal menu bar too.
