Hi,
It seems that there have been no new matrix-synapse-py3 package released for Ubuntu 20.04 (x86_64) since 1.118.0+focal1 in october.

Did Matrix stop supporting this ubuntu release ? Was it announced somewhere ?

Affected by this as well. It could be related to 1.119.0's dropped support for Python 3.8. However, 20.04 does have a python3.9 package. It should just require an update of synapse's Depends: line.

EOL of 20.04 LTS is supposed to be April 2025. Is synapse willing to support this as well, or should we update to 22.04? This is somewhat relevant due to the recent security fixes in 1.120+. Or are there plans for backporting these fixes to a possible 1.118.1?
