Circuits showing energy where nothing is connected

I flashed my Vue2 and I am getting weird results. First, the total power is up to 10% off from (a) the power reported by my Enphase solar system and (b) power reported from the meter via the "Vue Utility Connect". For example, both of the latter show around 460W while the Vue shows 425W.

Second, and more problematic, I am getting (substantial) readings on ports where there is not even anything connected. Example, Circuit 16:

This also manifests in the energy readings. Below is a screenshot from the energy dashboard in Home Assistant. Only circuits 2,6,7 are connected. Yet all of the circuits show some used energy; most notably 5:

Anyone else having similar issues?

There is one more report with similar findings: #103

I do have some CTs connected but no load on it (Ckt 5 and 8) but they still show garbage which is a bit concerning. I'll do some more debug on it.

I have the same issue...
I would simply not add the not connected sensors in your 'monitor individual devices' as it anyhow does not make sense to monitor them...
More problematic for me is the "Balance Power" and "Balance Daily Energy" that take these noisy non connected inputs and also take them into account...

Any possibility to edit the YAML code and kick non connected sensors out...
I for now only have connected 1 to 7 and 8-16 are disconnected with the same noisy bahavior.

I tried to comment out the 8-16 circuits and got a valid YAML file, but it does not want to compile...

You need to have matching parentheses, an ending semicolon (;), and you can't have a hanging minus (-, just like in math class). Here's some examples:

I actually did this and when compiling I still got errors...
I will share the adapted YAML file here later today and also the errors I get while compiling. Let's see is we can understand...

Did a test how to comment out the unused circuits and still get a correct balance energy reading...
(Made a special dummy test device so I don't mess up my current installation...)

So the first YAML below is the default file for a 3 phase installation with solar return compiles correctly...
The second YAML below is the adapted file where I commented out the phase 8-16 and I did take care of the - and ;

Both check as a valid YAML file...

But the second adapted YAML gives me the following errors during compile...
UPDATE: Stupid me, I forgot to also include the ) behind the id( cir7).state, so now it works and compiles....

Feel free to use the adaptation...

This 2nd adapted file now also compiles and nice edits out the non connected circuits...
