I've got everything working and installed with the below yaml. I added the device to Home Assistant and all of the sensors are created correctly. However, when I go to the energy dashboard config to add the circuits as individual devices, three of the circuits are not listed in the dropdown and I cannot add them - I have deleted the device and re-added it. I even deleted the device and edited the HA database to remove all the Emporia sensors before re-adding, and deleted some old unused ones as well (I changed the circuit names at one point). After doing that it is still these same three circuits that I cannot add.

Interesting--what do you see when you look at the ESPHome log? If that doesn't help, perhaps verbose logging in Home Assistant might have some helpful hints. Your config looks fine, and it's interesting that the energy readings work fine. |

Ok, I got this figured out. This is actually a GUI display issue in Home Assistant. I noticed that in the "Add Consumption" box, it is a dropdown. In the "Add Device" box, it's actually a drop-up. It goes up to just under the toolbar in the browser, and you can't go any higher than that. I was trying to type the sensor id in the box, but that didn't work either. I tried it on a Mac, and I noticed I could see Circuit 11 on there that I couldn't see on my PC. So on my PC I zoomed out with Ctrl-mouse wheel, and then I could see the other 3 circuits. Subsequently I found that typing in the name (as opposed to the entity ID) will also find it. So it's working, and I feel a bit dumber... |
