I have a new electric dryer that's wired to a 30A circuit. I originally assumed that it was like my oven - I could just clamp one of the leads and double the output in the config (e.g.
filters: [ *pos, multiply: 2 ]
), but turns out that different modes of the dryer (tumbling, heating) run on different phases, so I've had to add clamps to both leads (Phase A = Circuit 5 and Phase B = Circuit 10 on my Vue) and I add them together in a helper to get the total draw for the dryer.I modified the ESPHome config to remove the
multiply: 2
from Circuit 5 so it would report its unmodified value and successfully reflashed the Vue OTA from ESPHome, but even after manually power cycling the Vue, Circuit 5 still reports 2x the output. Is there something else I can try short of a factory reset and a wired flashing? I've had success updating the Vue OTA before, so not sure why this is being so obstinate.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
