Unable to remove enteauth (PopOS 22.04)

My existing install of enteauth (4.0.2) keeps popping up update dialogs. Trying to update it via dpkg -i installs a fresh copy (of 4.1.0) alongside the old install. cannot for the life of me figure out where it got installed for the first time or how to remove it. its not in apt list or flatpak list. there arent any appimages either.

Any clues as to how I can properly remove the older version or update it?
