Installing mp4v2 on Ubuntu 20.04 docker image

I am creating a docker image for an automated build process in which mp4v2 2.0.0 is a dependency. I am getting the package from the google code archive:

When I then try to make and install the package it results in a bunch of narrowing conversion errors. When I run with -Wno-narrowing I still get narrowing conversion errors:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be fixed?

These issues have been fixed in MP4v2 v2.1.x. Please update to the latest release.

MP4v2 v2.1.x should be fully compatible with 2.0.0 and should work as a drop-in replacement.
