Get the play start pos position

It would be nice with some improvement over VST.

If you make a sequencer plugin to your DAW. It would be nice to get an updated play position even when the DAW isn't playing.
So you can use the the transport of the DAW to go to different positions while not playing, to edit in different positions.

This would lock up thing like custom piano roll and stuff like that.

And maybe taking it a step further. That you can have alternative transport control in a custom sequencer plugin. Of just an alternativt transport control or display as a plugin.
