One thing that has hurt time and time again is when regolith has upgraded to 1.5, then to 2.0, and then to 3.0. Each time, it is a massive jarring experience when I often need to jump on a phone call or get something off my laptop real quick. The creators are fully aware and have worked to stablized such dependency changes going forward, as can be seen in #47 with the progression of config files and i3xrocks and other items.
With Regolith 3, the creators have released a statement saying the Launchpad is now locked to versions. E.g. "regolith3", instead of just "regolith".
I think this will make integration with Arch much easier, having a stable package to build off of.
I really wish I had the time to invest into this project... What an awesome combination.
