Wordpress and Gatsby Cloud Preview: Only working when site address is same as wordpress address

Hi, i'm trying to get live previews to work with wordpress and gatsby cloud.

I found out that it only works when in the wordpress general settings, the "site address" and the "wordpress address" are the same url (pointing to the wordpress installation). Like here:

It doesen't work, if i set the site address to where i deployed the gatsby site:

For me, it would make sense to set the site address to where i deployed the gatsby site, so people working in the backend can easily watch the edited site via the permalink.

Can anyone help me or did anyone did have the same experience?

This is because WP still needs to use its frontend for routing to previews
