@nvst18 - Try downgrading to PHP 7.4. It might be the version of PHP you are running rather than the version of WP. @TylerBarnes - WP Gatsby does not work on PHP 8, I believe due to support change for a dependent Random library. We're currently being forced to revert to PHP 7.4, but many hosting providers will start phasing this out. Updating this library to support PHP 8 is critical for security, performance, and support. Are there plans to update this library or can you get it on the roadmap to support PHP 8? Here is a note that I received from the technical team on a larger Wordpress hosting provider, WP Engine and Flywheel, on their support for PHP 7.4: "PHP 7.4 has technically reached it’s end of life, but keeping in line with WPE, we’ve opted to keep supporting it for now. I don’t think the cutoff date is determined yet. We encourage all users to be on the most update to versions as possible for better security and performance. There are more details here regarding preparing for PHP 8 that might be helpful. https://wpengine.com/blog/offering-all-customers-extended-support-php-7-4/" |
