Are you sure this is a new issue?

  • I have confirmed this is a new issue

macOS Version

Sonoma 14.5

Your Mac

MacBook Pro 13-inch, M1, 2020

App Version

1.8.1

What happened?

I hit refresh to update my podcast. It gives me the new episode but it also gives me about 200 past episodes that I have previously marked as listened. It is always the same episodes each time.

Bug prevalence

Weekly

How does it happen?

  1. Open the app
  2. Click on the podcast under library
  3. Hit Refresh to get new episodes

Anything else?

I love the app but this is becoming a nuisance.

@lokisapocalypse is this a private RSS feed? If not, can you send me the RSS URL for this particular podcast? I'm trying to see if there's something about this feed in particular that causes the episode status to reset with each update.

The feed url is http://35.161.124.133/podcast.xml

It doesn't cause the episode status to reset with each update but happens at least once a week randomly,

Just to update, it happened again today.
