It has been forever since I haven't published a new version of hint, mainly because of the many failing tests. The main new feature since then is support for stack.

Because I have been commenting out those tests rather than fixing them, the main thing which is needed before release is a lot of manual QA. Let's go through all the issues which are marked with the 1.1.2 milestone and determine whether they should be show-stoppers or not.

#155 doesn't count, as it will be fixed by releasing haskell-awk-1.1.2.

#186 is not a show-stopper since it's a feature request, not a bug, but it would sure be nice to get it in, so I think it's worth spending a bit of time on it to see if it's easy.

I've re-enabled all the tests! I can finally release without fear.

The only remaining ticket for the 1.1.2 milestone is #186 which is a nice to have, so we can drop it if it's turns out to be hard. But let's at least give it a try!

#186 is fixed, and we're also supporting a more recent version of ghc... we're really due for a release now!
