In https://github.com/opengeospatial/ogcapi-records/issues/#5 a text search conformance class has been suggested. In https://github.com/opengeospatial/ogcapi-records/issues/#295 a conclusion seems made to limit text search to support a basic use case. For us it makes sense to add a more advanced Full Text Search conformance class to pycsw anyway (which is already partially implemented).
A class which supports typical FTS expressions, such as
