Overflow of the bottom sheet component

Hi, I'm developing a bottom sheet component using v.4 and there's a text field. When you type @ symbol, mention list should be opened over the text field and bottom sheet, like in the mobile version of Slack when you tag someone.

But unfortunately, I see that bottom sheet component itself doesn't allow me to display anything outside the component. The only way I found is displaying Backdrop with the high zIndex value. But is it the only way?
