"Open Anyway" on Mac's system settings still brings up "can't be opened" message #137

Read through the FAQ and tried to go through the system settings, licked "Open Anyway" and the window saying it can't be opened comes up still.

Looks like you have an MDM profile installed, that might be the reason.

Try running xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine /Applications/NearDrop.app in terminal to remove the quarantine attribute.
