Stops working after the first share. Android -> Mac

When sharing from my android to my mac, the first share after opening the app on my mac will work, but on any subsequent shares from my phone cannot find my mac.

If I close neardrop and open it again, the first share will work again, but no subsequent shares.

Shares do work on the inverse however and don't stop working provided I use the Google Files receive work around.
