History

The RAVEN development started in 2012 at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The Department of Energy (DOE) programs that funded RAVEN are:

• NEAMS: Nuclear Energy Advanced Modeling and Simulation
• RISMC: Risk Informed Safety Margin Characterization (as part of the Light Water Reactor Sustainability, LWRS, program)
• NRHES: Nuclear-Renewable Hybrid Energy Systems
