Looking to integrate this into a new project i'm working on but theres a vibe of a deprecated project here.
The first reason is because there's no docs or even links to docs. A Google search pulls up this outdated version of docs. I ended realizing that doc_src of this repository contains some unbuilt docs.
The second reason is because the README says this project uses django-mptt under the hood. But that repo says that the project is currently unmaintained and to use something else.
What's confusing is that both of these repos appear to have commits in the recent past giving evidence that they're not abandoned. Is it worth integrating this into a new project? Or is doing that risky?

Not sure what would take to transform this to other library than django-mptt.
I am using this project for my project and I am interested in keeping it maintained, so I am willing to invest some maintenance work.
