Contact Forms not delivering

I have tried submitting a contact form from the front end to several companies listed in the directory and not one has received a form to their email address - I have obviously checked that the addresses are correct and also set up some dummy ones solely for testing.

Is there something I need to be doing in 'settings'? Doesn't appear to be!
