Acid Cam - New Release

You can now optionally output as a series of indexed PNG files in video mode by selecting the PNG checkbox. You can save a video at the same time.

The program also contains new filters.

• Updated to version C now uses DSHOW so 1080p for Webcams works.

Updated to version 1.66.1 with New bug fix.

Desktop Capture is not currently implemented. When installed on some systems H.264 might not be supported.
Remember if using 60 FPS or 4K video to use FFmpeg on the outputted file to compress it so you can play it back.

Install via Terminal

The Icon is in the Start Menu under Multimedia
The version of opencv that comes with DEBIAN does not have H.264 support.
I updated the acidcam-qt deb package here the old one did not include a requirement for libsdl2-dev
it should work now but incase the requirements for this package are

sudo apt-get install libopencv-dev libsdl2-dev
