Core plugin 'Daily notes' has a Date Format in its configuration (yes, it'd probably make sense if Obsidian had an application-wide setting, but in different situations you may want different formats) that refers out to https://momentjs.com/docs/#/displaying/format/ as a way to customise your date string for new daily-notes.
Creating a new note in Markwhen plugin generates a note with the name:
Markwhen 12-2-2024 14.00.47.mw
Which looks like a kind of cross between US and ISO variants.
A configuration item to set custom / preferred format would be perfect, second preference would be to utilise ISO 8601 / RFC 3339 like YYYY-MM-DD hhmm
Why is this needed?
Localisation improvement for people outside the USA who don't find month / day / year ordering comfortable.
