The documentation for nar-test [1] describes that the flag "skipTests" "Skip the tests." chimes in with maven's generic maven.test.skip parameter.
This behaviour is quite confusing, because in the maven test documentation [2 it says]:
To have same behaviour aligned, nar-test would need to:
Currently, both modes are intermixed in the maven nar plugin
