Even though it is commendable to try to connect every financial institution to auto import new transactions, I think it is not feasible and maintainable at long term, not to mention privacy/security concerns.

Having a standard file importer (like OFX, which most banks support) would make this solution viable to a broader audience.

I'm with you! Definitely want more file-import options. I'm going to re-name this particular convo as just "OFX". We'll be using this "Data Connectors" category as a way to prioritize the specific data sources and file types to focus on.
