Describe the feature

If I try and edit the starting date and balance for an account there seems to be a 10 year cut off

Why is this feature important?

I've got historic transaction data of accounts since the creation date (in this case around June 2013).

I'd like to import all the data for potential reporting and analysis

@McJoppy we can make this date a bit older. This cutoff is there mainly to prevent users from entering extremely old dates and overwhelming our system (i.e. Jan 1, 1750) since we sync daily balances for the entire life of the account.

Agree that 10 years might be a bit restrictive. Will get this updated.

Saw the code which mentioned it's an arbitrary date - just wasn't sure if this was something which has affected users in the past etc.

I bumped this back to a 20 year minimum. I think that should be plenty for the majority of use cases while preventing our system from degrading in sync performance.
