Dark Mode / Dark Theme Support

Describe the feature

It would be beneficial for users if the app supported a Dark Mode (or Dark Theme) option, allowing for a darker colour palette across the UI. This feature is especially valuable for users who prefer a reduced-brightness interface for better readability, eye strain reduction, and an improved visual experience in low-light environments.

Why is this feature important?

• User Comfort: Many users work in dark or low-light environments and find bright backgrounds jarring or distracting.
• Accessibility: Dark themes enhance accessibility for users with light sensitivity or visual impairments.
• Consistency: Most modern applications offer both light and dark themes, making this a standard expectation.

We've actually got all the design work done for this, but are holding off on implementing until we're a bit deeper in to the product as it's quite a bit of additional overhead for any new features.

Definitely coming!
