Hi

I'm using MEGAsync windows desktop app to synchronize files in NAS through ethernet network location from windows. Recently I'm experiencing frequent network disconnection when MEGAsync is in the syncing process, what happens is that all cabled internet connection through my ethernet switch is broken but the connection from my router is working fine.

The internet recovers quickly but it has caused windows fails to recognize the NAS network location and MEGAsync takes a lot of time to resume the syncing process

This was not an issue previously until I recently restart my pc and it seems like MEGAsync is updated. I have two questions which needs support on

  1. Are you aware of any update recently that could have caused this issue?
  2. Is there any way I could downgrade my current app version so that I can at least recover to a stable status before I change my syncing solution?

Personally, I've had issues with version 5.6.0, although seemingly not the same as yours. I downgraded to version 5.2.0, and it's working now (I have auto updates disabled)

Unless you kept a copy of the installer you used for a previous version (this is what I did), or you can compile from source, you'll need Mega to provide an installer for a previous version. They seem to only make the source for old versions available, not the installers.

You can get older versions here.

Hi @KaIKuxy ,

Thank you for your valuable feedback.

To help us resolve your issue, we recommend reaching out to our support team via the “Report Issue” feature. Please explain your case in detail and attach the relevant log files so we can thoroughly analyze the problem. Sharing private information and logs on a public GitHub thread is challenging, so reaching out directly to support will allow us to address your issue more effectively.

Once you have a ticket reference number, feel free to share it here, and we’ll help track the progress of your case.

Best regards.
