If Megasync is set to Advanced mode for issue resolution and it involves filenames which are formatted "(same name)%(any number)", Megasync will infinitely scan the files. The file count of the folder will also infinitely rise in Settings, though duplicate files are apparently not being uploaded and the counter will reset itself to the correct amount on restarting Megasync.
I noticed this on a synced folder containing various old MS-DOS apps and games which I use with the DOSbox emulator - this folder includes a DJGPP (GNU environment for DOS) installation with timezone filenames "GMT%0" "GMT%1" etc. I deleted these files and had no further problems syncing the folder.
Using Megasync 5.4.1.0 on Gentoo Linux (GURU ebuild).
