Zotero 7 crashes while trying to import notes to Obsidian. #396
Comments
I have the same issue. Better bibtex: 6.7.238 |
Try downgrading to Better Bibtex 235. |
Unfortunately the issue persists when downgrading. |
I tried upgrading to better bibtex 240 as well, but the issue is still there. I'll also note that I am using Fedora Silverblue and the flatpak version of Zotero (not officially supported). I never had issues with it before. I solved the issue by installing Zotero via a Copr repository. The import tool now works. |
Same issue here with all Better bibtex versions 235-240. Better bibtex: 6.7.240 |
Are you using the flatpak version of Zotero by chance? That seemed to be the root of my issue. |
Thanks! That was exactly the issue! |
Can confirm - installing Zotero using the tarball on Fedora 40
+1 |
Hi. This same issue was reported in 2021, I guess.
While trying to import notes from Zotero to Obsidian notes, Zotero immediately crashes, with the following message:
Error retrieving cite key
net:ERROR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
Cite keys appear to be OK on Zotero.
I have the most up-to-date versions of Better Bibtex in Zotero and of Zotero Integration as of today
Better bibtex: 6.7.236
Zotero Integration: 3.2.1
Pandoc reference list: 2.0.25
