Windows Terminal version

1.23.2611.0

Windows build number

N/A

Other Software

No response

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the settings UI
  2. Navigate to a page that isn't the first one (aka the default page we open to)
  3. tearout the settings tab (click and drag the tab out of the window)

Expected Behavior

The settings UI should still be on the same page

Actual Behavior

We reset to the Startup page. Additionally, any changes we had are lost.

Discussed with the team. This is a real bug, but it's really not worth fixing.

@carlos-zamora carlos-zamora closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Oct 9, 2024
