i do a make build, make run then login as admin. If I add a project manually that I know to build properly on the public readthedocs it adds the project but the build remains in the "Triggered" state...is celery not functioning?

config/etc/default/rtd-config.py contains a message queue (redis), elastic search and postgres config, however those things are not part of this container.

config/bin/rtd-start.sh does appear to be starting celery as part of this container

If you run the container directly, I think you will need to configure those three services on the right names. Does it work for you from docker-compose?

Hi @frodopwns, as suggested by @monkeypants, you should run redis, postgresql and elasticsearch containers

The easiest way is to use docker-compose, I updated the README.md file with newer instructions
