Re-implementation of the old "data completeness index" as requested by Paul Finnel and implemented by Henry Ferguson in the MS Access lab datamart snapshots.

There are at least two parts to this functionality:

  • determination "essential fields" that are not NA → horizon / layer DCI
  • aggregate to the pedon level (e.g. mean DCI) AND evaluate number of horizons in the context of how many horizons one would expect (e.g. from the OSD) → pedon DCI

The horizon version is useful for filtering horizons, but not enough to filter/sort entire pedons.

When series / taxa correlation is possible, compare number of horizons vs. expected number of horizons (per group).

Note recent updates to evalMissingData() and application of profileInformationIndex() given some prior "baseline" values by series or taxa.
