This is where you can ask questions about how to apply and interpret mvgam models. Please aim to provide a minimal reproducible example, ideally using a reprex, wherever possible.

This is not the only place where such questions can be handled. General R questions are probably better directed at Posit community, statistical theory and methods questions may get better answers at Crossvalidated or on the Stan Discourse, while general coding questions can be asked at Stackoverflow. But please don't post to all of them! Choose where your question fits best, and post it there.

We want this to be a friendly, respectful, inclusive community. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated.

If you are an experienced user that is providing help, please put yourself in the position of the person having the problem. It’s really frustrating when something goes wrong, and it can be hard to ask for help. A little empathy goes a long way!

Our package developers and maintainers are moderating this forum, and they will try to answer questions as time permits. But they also have jobs, so please be patient.

Don’t think that because you’re new to multivariate analysis or R that you can’t help answer questions. You might feel like you don’t know much in general, but you may know enough to answer one question.
