Apply to the GitHub OSS Security Fund

We would need a volunteer that would take the training, report back and then spend the rest of the 6 months spending some time implementing the feedbacks / work to progress the work being done by @RafaelGSS and @UlisesGascon. The budget for this is 10k.

I propose the individual will get the majority of the funds, minus the processing/management fees.

We would need to enable GitHub Sponsors (#1553) to get those funds.

I hope OpenJS (cc @rginn) could help with the disbursement.

Note that OpenJS projects won’t need to apply directly, and that foundation staff will be in touch with all projects for onboarding in the coming weeks.
