My keyboard already has ctrl in the correct location:
It would, of course, be possible to swap the mappings with xkb and then run caps2esc, it just seems a little silly to do so when my ctrl is already in the right place. Just a though. Thanks!

Custom mapping will be covered when I get the time to publish what I've done for #4. For now you can try figure out patching the single source file. Maybe just filling caps variables with ctrl contents here can be sufficient.
Thanks. I'll give your suggestion a try. I don't know much C, but maybe this is a chance to learn some more. (on the other hand, it runs with root... so maybe not the best project for learning C)
Keyboard is a Realforce. It's my baby! (I've also got an HHKB Pro 2, which also has ctrl in this location)
