I had the same error and fixed it by editing jni\vendor\libjpeg-turbo\Android.mk.
I added:

	$(SOURCE_PATH)/cdjpeg.h \
	$(SOURCE_PATH)/rdbmp.c \
	$(SOURCE_PATH)/wrbmp.c \
	$(SOURCE_PATH)/rdppm.c \
	$(SOURCE_PATH)/wrppm.c \

to LOCAL_SRC_FILES at line 175.
