Project status

Hi, I see that this project has not had any activity in over 6 months. Anyone know more about the project's status? Does it have any active maintainers currently?

I've been using Tom Select in one project and really liked it. I am considering using it in more projects, but the lack of updates is concerning. Hoping it's just temporary as I've yet to find anything comparable (that works well outside of NodeJS-based frameworks and doesn't depend on jQuery).
