Second Renaissance Gateway and broader Movement/Ecosystem: thoughts on our strategy

• Situation: building secondrenaissance.net and have a major workstream on building second renaissance movement/ecosystem
• Problem: lack clarity in our theory of change and what audiences/offers are associated with that
• Solution:
  • ToC: we want to help build a 2R movement. Right now, relatively few people know about 2R ideas, and even of those who are in the general space there may be lack of clarity/delineation/rigor. Thesis: a) need more people to discover 2R space for it to grow and hence have more impact b) more coherence matters, especially at core -- if we are to build an effective movement we need greater coherenece (even if in subpockets) i.e. alignment on ToC, strategy, vibes/principles (broad tent is useful but won't generate a powerful movement on its own)
  • Our audience in general are those interested or potentially interested in 2R. More specifically atm:
    • Proximate explorers. Offer: Front page + more info. Measure by visits, time spent etc.
    • Engaged (and explorers+): Course (in cohort)
    • Ambassadors: Ambassador program (+ support)
