Menuing in Modrinth (not launching an instance, just opening mod pages and such) causes all-core CPU usage to spike, and under x11 it sometimes restarts the whole session (Mint) #287

7600x CPU, fresh Mint install, downloading .deb, browsing mods for an instance. If I click on buttons, mod pages and such (not launching an instance), the CPU usage suddenly spikes, then goes back to idle. If I continuously click on pages, then it continuously have max usage. This isn't normal behavior.
Also, when used x11, sometimes clicking on things causes the session to restart, it closes everything and throws back to the login screen (it is reproducible, clicking the same things yields the same behavior). Switching to Wayland seemingly fixed this, but the absurdly high CPU usage remains.
I was suggested to make this report here.
I tried to search for other posts here, but I didn't found a solution.
How can I fix it?
