The ssl module should be include automatically if its used in the (ansible) config by a vhost.

Maybe it would be easier to always include it. It should get used in most cases anyhow.

I'm not sure what's recommended with Debian, but you might also want to consider replacing mod_ssl with mod_nss. It integrates very nicely with FreeIPA through certmonger. You would need to have mod_nss>1.0.11 for it to support SNI.
