Abstract

We are using ancient version of some libraries like react-intl or redux.

Motivation

Upgrade to maintained versions of important and foundational libraries.

Assumptions

Regarding react-intl there is already a specific PLIP:

• Update i18n machinery to latest react-intl #5627

Proposal & Implementation

Implement the upgrade, amend the code if needed.
In Redux use case, there has been some changes in latests versions that need to be adressed.
In react-intl, there's some tooling around that need to be updated as well, and decide if we still need to use .po roundtrip.

Deliverables

Volto using the new libraries and side tooling, if any.
Documentation, if needed.
