Music: Wang Jin beats Gao Qiu from the 1998 Water Margin TV series

Water Margin is one of the 4 major Chinese classic novels. It tells the story of 108 morally upright rebels who are forced to become bandits because the Government is so corrupt.

The analogy with modern Chinese dissidents is striking.

The background music is played on the series when the good guys are winning and in good spirits, e.g. from the first episode: https://youtu.be/lnshzmF6sY4?t=417 . The leading instrument is the Chinese suona.

It would be good to select images or edit some of them to make them all have a more similar or identical aspect ratio. But no patience now.
