Hi.

Is there interest for supporting Amazon S3 storage?

This can be implemented using awesome https://github.com/KnpLabs/Gaufrette filesystem abstraction layer.

@boutell Can you please give some direction on this? Would you eventually accept such PR?

Or adding the upload directly to S3 from the browser. I always try to minimize the load of the servers and if we don’t actually process the files it makes sense to let S3 handle the load.

Hi,

We don't do much development in SF2 these days and have been hoping to find
a new maintainer for this bundle for some time.

Would either of you be interested?

All we ask is that the current version, or one fully compatible with it
(and Symfony 2.0), remain available as a branch.

I’m not using this bundle anymore so I don’t think I’d be the right candidate. Thanks for offering though!

@boutell No, but I think you better update README and say that bundle is not maintained any more and that you are looking for a new maintainer. Thanks.

I would say that it is maintained for critical bugs when used in Symfony
2.0.x specifically. But there probably aren't many left. (:
