Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before participating in the online bounty program. By entering the program, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The bounty program is organized by Concordium AG ("Concordium”), primarily encouraging participants to help the Concordium community by creating step-by-step tutorials related to the Concordium blockchain and/or providing asked features and tools. All participants must comply with applicable laws and regulations when releasing any software developed during the bounty program. Concordium does not encourage or allow the deployment of applications in violation of applicable laws or regulations and Concordium reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these Terms & Conditions or engaged in fraudulent or unethical practices. The developer resources provided by Concordium are for educational and inspirational purposes only.
The intellectual property rights of the tutorials and other materials submitted as part of the bounty program will be owned by the respective participants who have provided the content. However, the participants agree to grant Concordium a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the submitted material for promotional purposes, incl. marketing, commercial, advertisement, or educational purposes. By participating in the bounty program, participants warrant that the tutorial or feature material provided does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
Winners will be selected based on the below criteria, as determined by a panel of judges appointed by Concordium.
- Documentation: Most of the time, documentation is more important than the code itself. How did you structure your code documentation, comments and readme files?
- Originality: How original, and unique is your code? If it's just another copy of the existing one, it will be eliminated due to plagiarism.
- Complexity: How complex is the submission or how sophisticated is the feature? The chances of winning the prize is heavily dependent on the complexity of the task.
- Simplicity: Working on a complex task, may not necessarily require making it cumbersome. We expect you to submit concise, short, and sweet step-by-step guidelines.
- Quality: Overall quality of the tutorial or feature including video quality(if applicable), sound quality (if applicable), code quality, unit tests, etc. is important. Submissions have to have links to the existing documentation, tutorial, code example, and APIs as references if they exist and are used in the tutorial. Concordium team will review the submitted code and they can ask for revisions, changes, or modifications before accepting the submission as valid. If the submission quality is not satisfactory, Concordium can disqualify.
- Plagiarism (Tutorials): No plagiarism or re-using of the past work. You are encouraged to submit projects created during the program, otherwise Concordium can disqualify you.
- ID Usage (Tutorials): Did you employ the ID layer of Concordium for the tutorials? This is not a mandatory requirement but will be a plus for you.
Winning participants may have to go through a KYC procedure offered by a KYC provider to be appointed by Concordium.
