glitching in the simulator

Description

When Rive is running in the simulator through metro, and you leave the simulator. When you return you get weird artifacts appearing on the screen until the app is reloaded. Once reloaded, it's fine.

The video hasn't caught all of it either, there's actually more similar artifacts appearing on the character underneath the thought bubble. Both of those are two different Rive animation files displayed with rive-react-native.

Additional context

RN 0.76/Expo 52, but this was also observed on prior RN/Expo.
Also occurs on the Android simulator.
