Dream interpreting does sound fun, but it would be even nicer if that can be applied in order ways, avoiding NodeJS or Telegram.

Other places for Dream Dictionaries are outlined here: infusionvlc/somnium_server#30

@BrandonKMLee Hi, thanks for your comment. I was initially trying to solve a problem I and my friends had. We had this dream book which was really big and we didn't want to always carry it everywhere.

So I decided the fastest solution was to make a bot (cause I don't have to build the UI) to search through the book without having to carry the book everywhere - all you need is your smartphone. I used to have the bot working on telegram but free server don't allow the bot to work 24/7.

Some weeks ago I moved it to a website - the website is a project I was also working on called prayerkeep, you can read about it here

Back to the dream book, you can now access the dream book on the prayer keep website by going to https://prayerkeep.com/dreamdictionary.

My friends (even me myself) aren't really using it often so I don't plan on improving it. I don't think it might be useful on different platforms cause this bot is deeply integrated with a book (and there is probably copyright issues).

Do you have a need or use case for this bot?

Mainly the Dream Dictionary is a way to store dream interpretation data and access it on PC. This is why the other reference sites and EPUBs can be used instead.

Also, PrayerKeep requires Google Authentication, which is another issue altogether

  1. Yes it requires google authentication cause the app needs a profile to work - if you ready about the app which I linked you'd see why. Google auth was the fastest to implement, plus almost everyone has one which really isn't an issue.

I have removed the authentication requirement for the dreamdictionary, just go again into https://prayerkeep.com/dreamdictionary.

  1. Could you explain what you mean by store? Do you mean anyone can create their own dream dictionary or there is a open source dictionary anyone can add interpretations? One challenge here is how do you know which interpretation is correct or not?

I have removed the authentication requirement for the dreamdictionary

Thanks

I found out that this dictionary is pretty unreadable and the terms are not as useful as the websites I listed. It might be better to make an alternate book.

You can go ahead to build whatever you want, I am currently no longer working on this project cause it solved my problem, I personally don't see a need or a demand for the project, therefore it isn't worth the time. I am working on a different project now and will not be able continue with the dream dictionary project.
