Shadowsocks started but doesn't have affect on network connection

Describe the bug

Shadowsocks is working, no errors or something, used SS VPN url is proper (working on android version under same Wi-Fi network that used for PC) but IP still real.

Environment

• Shadowsocks client version:
• OS version: Windows 11 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3155)
• .NET version: few version installed: 6, 7, 8

Steps you have tried

1. Start Shadowsocks.exe
2. "Servers" -> "Import from clipboard"
3. ShadowSocks server added
4. Switch system proxy server from "Off" to "For entire system"

What did you expect to see?

Working VPN on PC: not real IP on sites that can show your IP

What did you see instead?

Nothing changed. IP still real

Config and error log in detail (with all sensitive info masked)

No any helpful errors and notes in logs

make sure your Shadowsocks for Windows is working in Global mode。

If your Browser uses a Proxy plugin, please make sure it's configured correctly.

I have the same problem, global mod is on and PAC not used
