Apologies for very delayed response - so something like a ALWAYS_OPAQUE=80 variable and an ALWAYS_OPAQUE_CLASS with a list of user set Window Classes?

Would this resolve the issue I'm having with panels? I had them transparent, installing this (which I love) seems to overwrite that and they go back to 100%. Or could I remove panels with:

EXCLUDE_TYPE='DESKTOP|DOCK|SPLASH'

to

EXCLUDE_TYPE='DESKTOP|SPLASH'

or similar? I've tried it by adjusting the theme and applet transparent-panels, without effect with this installed.

Edit: the change works, after a restart.
